Group of disorders in which bullae are present almost continuously during the period of active disease.
These diseases tend to be chronic, and many are associated with tissue-bound or circulating antibodies.
Three bullous diseases are discussed in this chapter:
Pemphigus vulgaris,
Bullous pemphigoid and
Dermatitis herpetiformis
