• The purpose from quarantinableanimals/birds is isolation for limited period until the symptoms of diseases appear , if it's carrier, or to confirm it's free from epidemic and infectious diseases  .

• Wherever the incubation period of infections and epidemic diseases differ according to the type of disease , therefore the period of Veterinary quarantine for animals / birds differ according to the incubation period of microorganism that cause the disease

• 1-Diseases included with Vet. Quarantine ;The epidemic and contagious diseases that must be applying the principles and lows of Vet. Quarantine like :

  Cattle plague (Rinder Pest), Brucellosis , foot and Mouth diseases (F.M.D.),

  Anthrax , Contagious Bovine pleuro pneumonia (CBPP), Glanders , Strangles, Epizootic lymphangitis , Rabies , NewCastle disease , Fowel plaque , Yellow fever and Psittaccosis in bird ,Ectoparasite , Mejority of Epidiemic diseases that related to exported and imported animals, birds, fishes and it's products and their wastes product and the Biological preparation compound , vaccines , serumes , viral Bacteriological strains , and semen .

  2-Animals include :

  Cattles , Buffalo , sheep , goats , cameles , pigs (swines), horses (Equine) , Mules & Donkeys, Dogs , Cats , Monkey , Guenon , Rabbits , Wild animals , household pets .

  3-Birds include:

  Chickens , Ducks , Piegons(Doves), Goose , Quail , Peakook, wild birds (Falcon), exotic and cage birds .
